Event date: 3rd to 4th February 2026, Barcelona
The YEAH! consortium gathered in Barcelona for its Annual General Assembly, bringing together 55 members, nearly 80% of the partnership.
Over two days of intensive discussions, partners reviewed the scientific progress achieved during the first year of the project, addressed key methodological challenges, and aligned on the upcoming phases of this Horizon Europe initiative. The high level of participation reflects the strong collective engagement within the consortium and the shared commitment to producing robust, interdisciplinary and policy-relevant evidence to promote healthier lifestyles among young people across Europe.
The consortium warmly thanks ISGlobal for hosting the meeting and for the excellent organisation. The high quality of the scientific exchanges, the smooth logistics and the collaborative environment contributed significantly to the success of this Assembly.
Particular recognition goes to the teams leading Work Packages 1, 2 and 3, who have successfully delivered key milestones within the planned timeline, despite ambitious objectives and complex coordination requirements. Their work reflects the expertise and dedication that drive the project forward.
The consortium also acknowledges the essential contribution of the PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, engineers and administrative staff involved across partner institutions. Their daily engagement plays a fundamental role in the implementation of the project.
Finally, we extend our gratitude to the members of the Scientific and Industrial Advisory Board (SIAB) and the Ethics Advisory Board for their participation and valuable guidance, which contribute to strengthening both the scientific excellence and the societal relevance of YEAH!.
This Annual General Assembly represents an important milestone in the first year of the project and reaffirms the strength of collaborative, interdisciplinary European research.
